- I've been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1992.

- I worked at Mario Tricoci Salon & Spa, Chicago, where I received advanced training in haircutting and updo styling. 

- I worked as a hairstylist at Anna George Salon & Spa, Chicago

- I attended advanced training in technical skills in multiple color lines including Redken, Schwarzkopf, Kevin Murphy and Goldwell.

- I attended advanced updo training courses through Moroccan oil, Evo, and Makeup First.

- I have freelanced doing hair & make up for multiple agencies in the Chicagoland area working on-site weddings and special occasions.

- I'm certified in Hair extensions for multiple techniques. I specialize in hand tied / genius wefts, tape-ins, and clip-ins. 

- In this ever-changing industry, I'm still learning and growing to give you the best hair possible. My goal is always to make you love your hair and feel great about yourself.

- My real name is Tamara, but everyone calls me Tammy.

- I married my best friend and we have 2 kids that are adults now. Of course we all love each other.

- I adore my 2 dogs and I like to grow plants inside and outside. My favorite plants are Hoyas, snake plants and hydrangea bushes.

- I like eating almost everything except for anchovies and ricotta cheese.

-  I love my time with family and friends shopping, eating out, the theater, festivals and just having fun.

- I enjoy reading and gathering with my long standing book club of the most fantastic ladies.

- I am a TV addict and I especially like anything dark and twisted.

- I'm so lucky that I love my career and I love what I do. I thrive on being creative and meeting new people, and I can't wait to meet you!

- I currently work out of my salon suite that I specialize in multidimensional hair color, grey blending, advanced highlighting techniques, precision haircuts & formal updos.

- I only take 1 client at a time, no double booking or shuffling around chairs. You will have my undivided attention and the suite to yourself  to relax, enjoy and do as you please. 

- I offer free consultations for new clients and I'm happy to discuss your hair goals with you and come up with a plan.
